Really enjoyed our visit, very atmospheric bar with a unique interior. We wanted something a bit different from the standard 'chain' places. Food was great, we had bbq pulled pork ciabatta with fries, chicken club sandwich with fries and deep fried halloumi. Staff were friendly and attentive. Well worth a visit.

Terrible service, or lack of it. I stood at the bar for 10 minutes and was ignored by the disinterested staff, who served a younger guy who arrived after me. A fellow customer who was also overlooked also took exception to this and raised it with the staff who weren't bothered. This is the first time I've been in for about 5 years after receiving the same sort of service. It will be more than five years before I go back. I went round the corner to The Guildford and the difference was night and day. Great service there.
